I recently came upon a Software-As-A-Service (SAAS) offering called vendorRate. This service enables clients to rate technology vendors on quality of service and support prior and post acquisition.
Vendorrate also enables Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s) and SAAS offerings to understand how they are perceived by their clients. By using this service, technology professionals are able to identify how both their offerings and their competitors are viewed in the market.
As a sales and business development professional, I seek to improve the quality of service I deliver. Additionally I want to understand my customers perception of my offerings in comparison to my competitors.
On June 18, 2008 – VendorRate (www.vendorrate.com) announced that IT professionals attending the Microsoft Tech-Ed 2008 Conference in Orlando gave HP’s Desktop/Notebook division, Dell Storage-Networking and VMware the highest customer satisfaction scores among technology vendors.

If you are interested in checking out VendorRate, I would like to invite you to participate in VendorRate’s free IT vendor rating service for businesses. It takes less than 5 minutes to rate a vendor, and it helps build a database that everyone in the tech community can use to understand how vendors treat their customers.
For a limited time, VendorRate will mail you a $5 Coffee Card when you have registered and completed your first rating.
